Abstract
We, herein, report the first observation of compound heterozygosity for hemoglobin Shelby and hemoglobin S identified in the south of Brazil. The variant hemoglobin was identified by isoelectric focusing (IEF), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and DNA sequence analysis.Figures & Tables
