Abstract
The evolution of Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM) into chronic or acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a rare event. Most of these cases have occurred after treatment with alkylating agents. We herein report a case of WM terminating in an acute myelomonocytic leukemia after treatment with prednimustine and chlorambucil and present a review of the literature.
